I know Eid has been and gone but I received a late gift today!
In the forum that I am a member of we do an ‘Eid present swap’ at each Eid.
This basically involves the sister’s who want to take part being given the details of another sister and send a gift to them. It started off as being sent annonymously but the rules have relaxed to allow you to identify yourself if you wish. A limit is set of how much you are allowed to spend but mashAllah the sisters get so excited they get a bit carried away when buying the gifts.
I was sent a gift from Canada and I totally love everything that was sent to me and munchkin.
I absolutely love this idea and think it’s a great way of connecting with the other sisters in the forum who are from all over the world!
