Friday Wisdom – Faults

Think of your own faults the first part of the night when you are awake, and the faults of others in the latter part when you are asleep. Chinese ProverbsWe are so quick to pick on others faults; family, friends, strangers…… but how many of us sit down and think about our own faults?

No-one is faultless.

Narrated Abu Huraira:

Allah’s Apostle said, “Beware of suspicion, for it is the worst of false tales and don’t look for the other’s faults and don’t spy and don’t hate each other, and don’t desert (cut your relations with) one another. O Allah’s slaves, be brothers!” – Sahih Al Bukhari, Vol. 8 Number 717

Whoever conceals [the faults of] a Muslim, Allah will conceal [his faults] in this life and the Hereafter. Allah is helping the servant as long as the servant is helping his brother…” (Recorded in Muslim)
