Project 365 – January 1st to January 7th

I debated whether I wanted to do another year of this.

I was going to say no way, but realised it is a nice way to keep a track of what we have been up to. So here goes!

Day 1

It was Dad’s 77th birthday today. Got him a cake. He seems to be getting weaker by the day and it hurts to think he may not be with us much longer. I don’t think 2017 is going to be a good year.

Day 2

We did a bit of online sales shopping. Bee loves this dress from Monsoon and refers to it as her cowboy dress for some reason!

Day 3

Decided to treat myself in the sales too! I always seem to buy for the girls so was time to pamper myself aswell!

Day 4

Back to school and nursery today. Actually glad to have a bit of a routine.

Had a bit of melt down over the last couple of days. Pressure of all of dad’s appointments got to me as I am the main one rushing around…then some other issues which aren’t really my responsibility were dropped on me…and it just all got a bit much and all the range of emotions just erupted. Rosie has been my calming rock….she senses when I am down and doesn’t leave my side.

Day 5

Back to karate for Bee and she was given an award for Effort and Attitude of the Year 2016. She was meant to get it at their presentation evening before Christmas but we didn’t go as she had a cold so it was a nice surprise…we really weren’t expecting anything as she is only 4 and started karate just last year in May.

Day 6

Although I was taught to recite the Quran at a young age, I am a bit rusty and wasn’t taught the proper way. So decided to sign up to some classes…and it gets me out of the house!

Day 7

Bee has a bit of temperature and is sniffly so decided to stay at home. Hubby cooked some chicken and I made my dish which is Pakoreh in yoghurt, garnished with onions, tomatatoes and coriander. (I had to collect the eldest from horse riding and the hubby cut the coriander in big bits!)
