Back to School with Hello Kitty

Have a Hello Kitty fan in your house? Then Hello Kitty have got you covered when it is time for back to school! And if you don’t know about Hello Kitty then Hello Kitty is a fictional character produced by the Japanese company Sanrio and is pretty popular.

Both my girls have started new journeys this September; the eldest starting secondary school while the youngest began her school journey by starting reception. So there has been a lot of emotional moments happening with the eldest being slightly nervous and the youngest totally excited to start.

Starting school is a big step and Hello Kitty wanted to help the girls with their new school journeys.

Hello Kitty Products

I never actually realised Hello Kitty had such a wide range of products, something to suit everyone and practical items as well. And if I am honest I wanted to keep some of them myself! (How cool are those socks?)

Personal Care and Clothing

Hello Kitty have got you covered with a detangling comb and hair accessories. My Nametags also do Hello Kitty school uniform labels which are pretty easy to apply. The small packets of hand and face wipes are useful for the whole family with the girls putting a packet in each of their school bags and one in my purse for when we are out and about.

Bee absolutely loved the hair accessories and immediately put on the hair band and was so excited with the hair bobbles and of course wanted to wear them to school.

Notebooks

For the slightly older children Hello Kitty have a range of products to suit. Including customisable notebooks and happiness journals.

Hello Kitty notebooks

Seeing as Bee can’t write yet she grudgingly handed them over to her sister. The notebook will come in handy for her to jot any extra notes that she may need to write at school while the happiness journal is a great way for her to note down how her week went and any memories of that week. As she gets older it will serve as a great reminder of how her first year at secondary school went.

If you love Hello Kitty and stationary then you can get notebook and happiness journal, along with a wide range of stationary, from Paperchase: Hello Kitty Stationary.

And if that wasn’t enough, Hello Kitty fans will absolutely love the Hello Kitty magazine and stickers that are available (who doesn’t like stickers!?)

Are you a Hello Kitty fan? What’s your favourite product?

Disclosure: We were sent some Hello Kitty products to help the girls with back to school, all thoughts and opinions are our own.

  • My daughter like hello kitty very much. That is why,I made the hello kitty cake on her birthday. .She will like these things.

  • What an adorable collection! I remember when I was in school and everyone was crazy about Hello Kitty. It is one of those things that are always trendy. I really love the little journal, what a great way to get children to reflect about their week. I don’t blame you about the socks lol I would have loved to keep them too

  • Wow! I had NO idea that Sanrio had such an extensive range of Hello Kitty products! Somehow I was never into it while growing up, and my girls are too young for that yet. The Sanrio store does seem to beckon my almost 3 year old, but I quickly distract her and run her past it lest another new obsession begins! (Minnie Mouse is good for now, thank you!)

P.S. Your post makes me want to rush to the Sanrio store now!

  • That happiness journal – oh em gee! How adorable! Also I love that tangle brush – we have like three tangle teezers in this house and none of them are as fun as that!
