We fell in love with David Charles dresses when we previously received one, so we were happy to hear that they also do an Eid collection. All their dresses are stunning and perfect for any special occasion, including Eid and weddings. As we had a close relatives wedding coming up, Bee picked a dress that she would be happy to also wear to a wedding.
With such beautiful dresses, it was hard to pick just one. But similar to the previous dress she chose, she eventually picked one with flowers. Of course it also had to have pink in it!
Ivory and Pink Rose Dress
Available in a pretty ivory and pink palette with a vibrant rose design, this satin dress offers a fit and flare silhouette and a soft finished look your girl will love. Details include puffed sleeves adorned with matching bows, and a concealed zip to fasten.
Bee was so excited when she saw the dress. She couldn’t wait until she got to wear it to the wedding as she knew the dress would really stand out! Unfortunately, due to the current Covid-19 crisis the wedding was cancelled and she didn’t get to show the dress off!
And then the lockdown happened….so we decided to dress up at home instead!
The dress is 100% polyester and the lining is 100% cotton and Bee said it was very comfortable to wear. Our favourites were the sleeves. The puffed sleeves stand out and make the dress look more stylish! The sleeves are also nicely finished with bows and even little gems.
Although Bee is 7 she is heavier built and therefore an age 7 would not fit her round the waist, as this dress is a ‘slim fit’. I ended up purchasing age 9 and it was a perfect fit, although it was then a little bit loose around the neckline, but nothing that was majorly noticeable. Also it was longer than intended but we prefer longer dresses so it was perfect for us. It would be ideal if different measurements for different ages was available, although I do understand this might not be practicable. The website does have a handy measuring guide so I would always recommend checking measurements before ordering.
The dress is priced at £245 but David Charles Childrenswear are a luxury brand. The dress is a luxury dress and of outstanding quality. It is sure to wow wherever it is worn and can be worn again and again as they are suitable for any occasion!
Hopefully the lockdown ends soon and the wedding is back on so we get a chance to show it off. In the meantime it will be worn at Eid!

Masha’Allah absolutely stunning! It’s such a shame she didn’t get to weat it to the wedding, but there’s still Eid and once the lockdown is over she can wear it again. Mine would try to get me to let her wear it at home, had to hide the pretty dresses I’m keeping for Eid because she’s obsessed with dressing up for staying home!
