Fun Family Games from Spin master to Keep You Entertained at Home.

Spending a lot of time at home can lead to a lot of screen time. Now personally I don’t have an issue with kids being on their tablets or watching TV….I have an issue with how long they spend on it. It is so easy for them (and myself) to be able to spend all day looking at screens. So I am actively limiting how much time the family are sitting and staring at screens. And that is where Spin Master comes in! They have a wide selection of games, suitable for all ages; so you are sure to be able to keep each member of the family entertained.

Hedbanz

Hedbanz is certainly fun for all the family! A guessing game where you put a card in your headband and then have to ask the other players questions to guess what you are – an animal, food or object! You are only able to ask ‘yes’ or ‘no’ questions and have to guess before the timer runs out! If you guess correctly you receive a scoring badge. The first one to get 3 scoring badges wins! This is definitely a game where everyone had fun, with lots of laughter, and it makes the children think hard about what questions to ask to enable them to guess correctly.

Otrio

Otrio is another fun game that the whole family can join in with. Simple rules but can be quite challenging. To win, get three pieces of your colour in a row based upon similar size; lined up in ascending or descending order; or within the same space as three concentric pieces.

It definitely does make you think and be strategic.

Baby Shark Lets go Hunt Fishing Game

Ages: 4+

The classic fishing game with the added twist of Baby Shark! We have played similar games before and it always has been fun to catch the fish. In this game you catch the fish with one of the Baby Shark themed rods while the board spins. The aim of the game is to catch as many fish as you can!

And fans of Baby Shark will love that it continuously plays the Baby Shark song. The young ones are sure to have hours of fun with this game. Note that batteries are needed for this game which are not included.

Jumanji: The Next Level Falcon Jewel Battle Board Game

Ages: 8+

Having recently seen the film, we were looking forward to checking out this game. The game features characters with their own unique bonuses and also a falcon jewel. Your goal is to collect tokens to fill your character tracker. However we felt the instructions were very lacking and it was hard to decipher how to play the game….I must admit at times we kind of made it up as we went along. However once you figure out how to actually play the game I am sure Jumanji fans will enjoy it.
