One of the books we have that is relating to hajj is ‘An Ocean in One Drop – The Tale of Hajjar in Hajj.’ One of the five pillars of Islam is hajj so it is of the utmost importance to ensure our children know about hajj, what it is and why we perform it.
Sunday 6th June – Day 156 A quiet Sunday of just chilling really. Tried to do a bit of gardening. Noticed my red roses are beginning to flower. They are quite late this year compared to last year.

Although she knew all the recitations she only really started praying once she hit puberty but alhamdulillah now does
Sunday 30th May – Day 149 A quiet day. Started packing for our trip to Wales and headed over to the parents so they could spend some time with the girls before we head to Wales tomorrow. I love these flowers in their garden. It was my plant in a pot but it wasn’t doing
Sunday 23rd May – Day 142 A quiet Sunday as usual. Not a lot happening really. General chilling, cooking and cleaning. Loving the peonies that are flowering in the garden.
Sunday 16th May – Day 135 Woke up feeling a bit tired and stressed out, think the weather hasn’t been helping. The rain held off in the morning so myself and Bee went out in the garden to have another go with the giant bubbles we we sent last week to review.

Sunday 9th May – Day 128 Didn’t have much planned today so decided to start putting up the Eid decorations as didn’t want to be doing it all the night before and tiring myself out. The decorations were gifted by Anafiya Gifts.
