I jumped at the chance of reviewing ‘Sweetcorn Bites’ as munchkin loves sweetcorn. We usually buy tinned sweetcorn and I thought it was time to try fresh sweetcorn on the cob.
As described by Barefoot of Botleys: ‘Lovingly made on a working farm in Sussex, Sweetcorn Bites are the perfect healthy snack. Packed with goodness, they’re great for all sorts of occasions from kid’s teatime treats to serious side dishes and more.’
The best thing about Sweetcorn bites is that they are:
- 100% natural and fresh from the farm
- No artificial ingredients
- No GMO, nuts or gluten
On average there are 8 ‘bites’ of sweetcorn in each pack and there are a variety of ways in which you can cook them: steam, boil or microwave. I opted to microwave them. All you have to do is open the pack, add 1tbsp of water and then cook them for between 4-5 minutes depending on the power of your microwave.
However, in all honesty, they even taste good straight out of the packet without any cooking.
They definitely went down a treat with my family. I had got them delivered to my dad’s house and he had munched through half of them before I even got a chance to try them! So clearly they were a hit! They are the perfect size as snacks for the kids and adults alike and so quick and easy to cook if you don’t want to eat them cold.
If you fancy trying out some Sweetcorn Bites you can purchase them through Ocado and selected stores at Tesco, Waitrose and Co-op. You can also learn more about Sweetcorn Bites and the farm they are produced on by checking out their website.
