Sunday 25th March
A lovely sunny day and decided to go to the local park to try out an Air Hogs Sonic Rocket we had been sent to review. It can go up to 200ft but with a bit of wind it does drift and we had a few crash landings in the trees.

Monday 26th March
Hubby came home a bit earlier from work and we popped to the shops to see if we could find a new school bag for the eldest as she had broken hers. Ended up having a treat in the local Krispy Kreme.

Tuesday 27th March
Hubby decided that we are going Pakistan on Saturday. He had mentioned it yesterday but was hoping he was kidding but tickets ended up being booked. So then a mad rush to get holiday leave request forms as will have to take a few extra days off school….and then shopping after school to get Bee clothes as she has no summer ones that fit and the temperatures there are close to 40degrees. Trying to remember everything we need and get packed in 3 days. Thankfully the cattery had space for Rosie so got her booked in to. Hate leaving her there for 3 weeks but don’t really have anyone that can check on her daily.

Wednesday 28th March
Bee was meant to be performing at the Drama festival this year but it was cancelled due to all the snow and they couldn’t afford to do it on another day. So her school did their own little festival. Bee was so confident…she got up on the stage alone in front of the whole school, the staff, and parents and said her poem clearly and loudly. Was so proud of her. Excuse the quality of the photo!
After the performance another mad dash about the shops getting more things for our trip.

Thursday 29th March
More rushing around to get things we need for our trip. Eldest’s final day at school today. As was busy rushing around, didn’t get a chance to cook so off to the new chinese and turkish restaurant we went. Eldest doesn’t like this kind of food so got her a burger and left her with the parents! Received a letter from the eldest’s school that the leave we want will be unauthorised. Not surprised really. I don’t want to take her out but hubby wants to go longer for 2 weeks as we can no longer afford to go yearly now that I don’t work. Yes there are 6 weeks in the summer holidays but we can’t bear the heat, more likely to get ill…and the electricity often goes off. However in future I am going to put my foot down and say we are only going for 2 weeks now that the eldest is in secondary school.

Friday 30th March
A day spent cleaning the house, final bits of shopping and finalising the packing. Also tried to complete a review for a board game Codename Pictures which is due by the 10th. Not happy with the photos but had to get the post live before we went.

Saturday 31st March
Today we leave to go Pakistan for 3 weeks where temperatures are getting close to 40 degrees. In all honesty not looking forward to it. But the in-laws want to see the girls. Dropped off Rosie at the cattery before we left and that broke my heart. Hate thinking of her locked up for 3 weeks!
Will try to keep up with Project 365 while gone as will be taking the laptop but no guarantees!
Enjoy your trip and may Allah make it easy for you. Ameen.
Have a safe trip. Well done to Bee, that’s very brave. We’ve still got to try that rocket, hoping the weather is ok for it on Monday #365
The Air Hogs Sonic Rocket sounds like a lot of fun!
Eek! That was short notice from your hubby about visiting Pakistan. I hope you manage to have a nice time despite the heat.
Well done Bee for getting up in front of everyone. I couldn’t do it x

Well done to Bee. I don’t think I’d cope well with 40 degree temperatures – don’t envy you that.

I hope you enjoy your trip to Pakistan, it’s hard juggling time with family abroad, although we are in reverse, spending our time i=visiting them in the UK and I feel for you with the heat, at least we get acclimatised to it. Hubby will be in Pakistan the week after next and always comes home with a dodgy tummy, hopefully you’ll all be ok
I am sure Rosie will be fine, these places usually interact with them and spend time making sure they are ok.
40 oC is a lot when you are not use to it, and you and the girls are not use to it. I can see both points of view his for making it worthwhile going and your for not wanting to take them out of secondary school.
Have tried KK once and was not impressed. a lot of money and I felt paying for the name.
Hope you enjoy your break away and look forward to seeing some scenic pictures in the next 2 weeks round ups.

Hope you have a good trip to Pakistan! I would be very stressed organising a trip at such short notice. Love the photo of Bee up in front of the school. She does look very confident.

Hope the heat isn’t too unbearable and it’s a good visit to Pakistan. Impressive turn around. Those Krispy Kremes look amazing. They’re definitely one of my failings diet wise.
Oh my goodness, I hadn’t realised the trip was booked SO quickly. Good thing you managed to pack everything in time. Hope you’re loving it and having a relaxing time there!
I hope you are enjoying the trip and I’m envious of the temperature (non stop rain here for about a week!) #project365
