Project 365 – Week 29 of 2018

Sunday 15th July

Hubby went into work today so we took the pool to my parents house and spent the day there. I think Bee had more fun watering the plants with a saucepan, scooping up the water in the pool…. then using the actual pool itself!

Monday 16th July

Hubby wasn’t feeling great so came home from work early. On the way home from work he stopped off at Chaiiwala and got me some Falooda (a cold dessert).

Tuesday 17th July

Finally got our bathroom window replaced which has been broken for a while and we couldn’t open it. Then as hubby hadn’t gone to work today we decided to go out to lunch.

Wednesday 18th July

Went to Bee’s special assembly today. Where the reception year reflected over the past year and sang a song. There was quite a few wet eyes in the room. After school, it was karate and Bee made class star again.

Thursday 19th July

My car got broken into overnight. I could have sworn I locked the car but there was no damage to the car. They stole my dashcam, some spare change I had and also a small Quran cube which is like a small portable speaker. Was a horrible feeling knowing someone had broken into my car. My car has also been showing Engine Malfunction signs so had to book it in to be looked at but earliest I could be fitted in was next week.

Friday 20th July

Bee received her school report today and one proud mum here. She is exceeding in virtually every section and the teachers comments were lovely:
‘She is a caring and thoughtful person…..’
‘Eager to please..’
‘Positive attitude..’

Sad that the reception year is almost over but looking forward to Year 1.

Final day for the eldest today and she is looking forward to Year 8 in September.

Saturday 21st July

We have been sent the KumiKreator to review. So while Bee was at her mosque class, myself and eldest had a go. Full review on the blog soon. Later discovered another of Dad’s friends died in the morning so went to the mosque where everyone had gathered with the funeral prayer being held in the evening before he was taken to Pakistan for burial.
