Tom and Jerry and The Wizard of Oz: Review and Giveaway

Asalaam Alaikum/Hi all!!
As a child I loved the Wizard of Oz and also Tom and Jerry, so when I was offered the chance to review a new DVD called ‘Tom and Jerry and The Wizard of Oz’ I jumped at the chance.
If you fancy travelling down the yellow brick road again then this DVD is perfect for you! It is due to be released in the UK on 19th September 2011 from Warner Home Video.
Both my munchkin and 11 year old niece settled down to watch it and it gave me some much needed peace and quiet for the duration of the DVD. Complete silence apart form the occasional bursts of laughter!
Munchkin has come across Tom and Jerry briefly before but has yet to watch The Wizard of Oz so it was a completely new experience for her. My niece is familiar with both.
The DVD, along with Tom and Jerry, has all the old favourite characters which include Dorothy and Toto, Tinman, Scarecrow and Lion.  The storyline is pretty much the same as the classic Wizard of Oz but has the added comedy of Tom and Jerry. My munchkin was giggling away at the antics of Tom and Jerry and was laughing out loud when poor Tom was always getting into trouble. My niece clearly enjoyed it aswell and I loved it too. It is perfect for children of all ages including the big kids of the family (parents and grandparents!!)
