Dear family, friends, acquaintances, and any random person,
Just because you see a pregnant women does not mean you have the right to touch her stomach.
Think about it.
Would you go up to a non-pregnant lady and touch her belly?? No, because she would probably do you for sexual harassment…..so why do you think it is ok to do it to a pregnant lady? Having a baby does not give a free pass to everyone to randomly touch bellies.
I don’t care if you are family, my best friend….the Queen! You DO NOT touch my belly without my permission.
I am now going to start carrying a sharp instrument with me……the next person to do it is at risk of losing their hand.
You have been warned.

I so remember feeling the same. We were in Spain when I was 15 weeks and didn't even have a bump and still people thought my tummy was public property! I didn't find it as bad in England though. The only person I wanted touching my bump was my husband, the midwife and the technician for the scans to be honest. Just breathe through it and smile through your teeth š

I'm with you Foz. Pregnant or not, I do not like anybody on the street touching me at all.
Aggr that's so bad touching preggers without asking first!
Sometimes we would feel bloated or uncomfy, they wouldn't know..
I can only agree with you all..
I wonder why people think it is right or let's say fine to touch somebody's belly. You are very right Foz, your body belongs you and being pregnant does not change this. xx
I am the same. Just want hubby, midwife and technician only to touch it. Even then get funny with the midwife etc lol but I know they have to!
