We were recently sent some pencils to review.
What’s the big deal with pencils you may ask?
Well these are no ordinary pencils. They are in fact called smencils and we were sent some Robinsons Fruit Shoot Smencils!
Smencils are scented pencils and are environmentally friendly – they are made from 100% recycled newspaper.
Robinsons Fruit Shoot smencils have been introduced for 2012. They are 5 graphite pencils in Fruit Shoot flavour scents:
- Summer Fruits
- Blackcurrant and Apple
Munchkin loves drawing and therefore the smencils were ideal. She needed new pencils and these were unique due to the fact that they are scented. As soon as we took them out of the wrapper we could smell them! And they definitely smelt good enough to eat!
She couldn’t stop sniffing them and I had to remind her that they are for drawing with and not just to sit and sniff!! Although I was tempted to just sniff them like she was! The smells are lovely and you just can’t get enough of them!
In addition to the fact that they are environmentally friendly, what is also great about the smencils is that they each come in their own bidegradable tube, guaranteeing freshness for 2 years.
They would make a great addition to any child’s pencil case for school!
If you fancy winning a set of your own smencils then you can enter a Facebook competition here to win one of ten sets! Competition closes 7th September 2012.
Disclaimer: I was sent a set of smencils for the purposes of review, however all thoughts and opinions are my own.
