Day 104 – Sunday 14th April
After spending yesterday all day at her karate place and her inter club today was a day of just resting and not doing a huge amount. Spent some time in the garden, watched a bit of TV and not much else. So here is a picture of Rosie as didn’t actually take a picture of anything else.
Day 105 – Monday 15th April
Decided to make use of our National Trust membership which renewed last month and went to Anglesey Abbey. The girls took part in the Easter Egg hunt and we had a good day..the place is lovely for a walk around and so may green spaces perfect for a picnic..Next time we go will take a picnic.
Day 106 – Tuesday 16th April
Today we decided to go to the cinema to make use of the Meerkat 2 for 1 offer. Went to see Dumbo…was a pretty good film.
Day 107 – Wednesday 17th April
We were going to stay at home today but at the last minute decided to go to a local farm, Sacrewell Farm. I think the last time we went with friends was 2014.
Day 108 – Thursday 18th April
We needed a rest so stayed at home. Ended up cleaning Bee’s water table so she could play with it and then did a spot of gardening. I found some tomato seeds in the back of the cupboard which said they should have been sowed by 2010…..we decided to try them and see if they grow.
Day 109 – Friday 19th April
Did debate whether to go out for the day but with it being the bank holiday weekend we decided not to as it would probably be crazy busy and we all don’t like it when its really busy..plus I didn’t fancy getting stuck in traffic. So instead we did some baking at home and made some cookies.
Day 110 – Saturday 20th April
Spent pretty much all day at my parents. Bee wanted her pool out…I did say although its hot its not that hot but she insisted…and then didn’t play in it for long because she was finding it cold!
Is Anglesey Abbey worth visiting? The biscuits look like they’ll be lovely when decorated #365
I think it is..the house isn’t as grand as some others we have seen so far but we had fun
Looks like you had a good week of holiday activities. I loved Anglesey Abbey when I visited some years back.

Yes it was a pretty good week! It is a lovely place!
What a lovely setting for an Easter egg hunt. It looks like lovely weather too.
We still haven’t got around to watching Dumbo. We will eventually.
Good luck with the tomatoes. I didn’t know seeds had a use by date. x

I didn’t realise they had one either until now!
I had to laugh at Bee and her pool! I think so many kids would do that. It will be interesting to see whether your tomato seeds grow. We want to see Dumbo, but I don’t suppose we will get round to it now.

They still haven’t grown…….
Rosie looks rather startled, did you creep up on her? I’ve had seeds germinate after expiry date, I’m not sure why they put dates on them it’s more to do with storage conditions. It’s been a lovely warm weekend, but not warm enough for a paddling pool for me either
They still haven’t germinated so beginning to think they might not….
love her costume in the paddling pool. It does seem warmer until you are wet but they don’t listen do they. Totally agree about the staying at home in the hot weather as round here it gets gridlocked with everybody trying to get to the beach.
She is decorating those biscuits beautifully

It is just nice to chill at home sometimes!
What a great busy week! I really wanted to see Dumbo but the kids weren’t interested so will have to wait for it to come out on DVD. I still think that National Trust is probably the best value card I have ever had and one we keep year on year. Love the look of the biscuits.

We need to get out more to make more use of the membership!
Anglesey Abbey looks absolutely beautiful. It’s also nice to see someone got their tomato seeds planted since I’m a little late this year starting my garden.
