So here we are again! Another new year and another new daily photo project! Hope everyone has a good year….full of fun, laughter and joy!
Wednesday Day 1 – 1st January

It was dads 80th birthday today. Got him a cake which was baked by one of his oldest friends daughter and just spent the day with the family.
Thursday Day 2 – 2nd January

Went to soft play in the evening as it was a special charity event. Met up with some friends…Bee got picked on by some girls and so I sent her big sister in with her grumpiness to show that Bee wasn’t alone. Have told Bee so many times to defend herself but for some reason she doesn’t even though she knows karate. However she did admit after that she hit one back after I told her to defend herself if they continued to be nasty.
Friday Day 3 – 3rd January

Been a bit tired and grumpy recently….hubby realised and took us to London in the afternoon for a bit of food and some shopping. I wrote about eating out at Spice Village if you want to read our review.
Saturday Day 4 – 4th January

Back to the routine of karate! Was a bit of a shock to the system having to get up and be out of the house by 10am when recently we had gotten lazy and weren’t waking up until 10am! But it was nice to get out and catch up with some of the mums. And Bee made Star of the Class in her fight class.
Hope your dad had a good birthday. So hard when they have horrible kids to deal with. Sods law the one defending themselves would be the one to get caught. But I presume knowing karate means Bee would be able to use just basic moves to hold others off without hurting them, just to warn them to keep away.
Yep thats one of the reasons she won’t hit back as she says she will get into trouble…but if you don’t these bullies carry on
That cake for your dad really does look amazing! I hope he had a wonderful birthday.
Aww! Poor Bee. Kids can be so mean.
Sending hugs. I hope you feel better soon.
Well done with the karate! We’ve been rather lazy here too. Back to school on Monday is going to be a shock for us all. x

He had a nice relaxed birthday thanks!
Aww lovely way to start the year, what an amazing age to celebrate. Soft play was both the best and worst place I took children I nannied too, always some other child who tried to rule over everyone!
Happy new year.

We don’t often go to Soft Play but out of the few times we have been this is the first time something like this happened.
Happy New Year to you too!
Happy 80th birthday to your dad, what a lovely cake. I was the older child sent in to protect my younger sister, often the other child would have a sister older than me lol
Thankfully this time there were no other older ones!
Happy new year! And a happy belated birthday to your Dad!
The cake looks delicious. Hope he had enjoyed his big day.
Sorry to hear Bee came across some nasty kids at the soft play. Big well done to her for being the star of the week!
Thank you and Happy New Year to you too
I’m so glad you’re continuing for another year, my year in review would be pictures of my desk or cleaning products haha! But I enjoy reading these posts!

Nothing wrong with desk pictures and cleaning products. Rosie the cat ends up featuring a lot when I have nothing else to post!
That food looks amazing. I hope your Dad had a wonderful birthday #366
It was nice and relaxing
Happy Birthday to your Dad! Hope he had a good time. It’s quite nice to be getting back to all our activities this week.

Yes definitely good to get back into a bit of routine
I hope your dad had a good birthday. It is hard when they have horrible kids to deal with. Happy New Year xx
Happy New year to you too!
Ooooo happy birthday to your dad! It’s so sad that ‘kids’ have the capacity to pick on other kids. If they were physically hurting her then she should defend herself.
That’s a ‘bit’ of food??! Ooo congrats to Bee!
