Sunday Day 313 – 8th November
A quiet day at home. Hubby isn’t working at the weekend now as there is no point as with lockdown there aren’t many customers. So he took the eldest for her eye examination. Her eyesight is fine and she has been recalled after 2 years for a check. I then discovered there is a halal chinese about 10 mins away so I decided to order a takeaway in the evening as I just wanted in the mood to cook. It took over an hour to arrive, was a bit cold and was nice but nothing overly special. Don’t think I will be ordering again. The photo is of the salt and pepper chicken.
Monday Day 314 – 9th November
Just wasn’t feeling it at all today. Didn’t want to do anything at all so didn’t really apart from doing a spot of cooking. Rosie decided the box I was about to throw out was a good place to get in and go to sleep.
Tuesday Day 315 – 10th November
Managed to get a blog post live about some Disney Frozen 2 products we had been sent to review. And then not much else really. I had to borrow Bee’s cat ear headphones to do something on my laptop and the Rosie looked a bit confused when she saw me in them!
Wednesday Day 316 – 11th November
Spent the morning giving the cooker a deep clean as it was a bit disgusting really! Hand was aching afterwards. Bee has been enjoying the K’nex we received to review and it’s gotten her off the TV while she makes things. I did wonder if some of it would be difficult for her but she has been doing better than I expected.
Thursday Day 317 – 12th November
Got a lot of blog stuff to get done but just couldn’t get motivated. So decided to bake scones instead. They turned out delicious and must admit I did end up having more than I probably should have had. Both the girls loved them too so they were a hit! Recipe saved for future bakes!
Friday Day 318 – 13th November
Tried to get on with blog stuff. Got some comments done and started working on some review posts. I had ordered some Children In Need hair clips for Bee to wear to school today as she had to wear something spotty but they arrived late so she wasn’t best pleased as she had to go to school with nothing spotty on! Although I did say to her its either spotty or just non uniform! Will have to save the clips for next year. When they did finally arrive later in the day, I thought we would try them on the cat.
Saturday Day 319 – 14th November
Online karate in the morning and then not much planned. A rainy Saturday so some games and TV. Tried out Lite Brite which we were sent to review. Blog post coming soon. Did manage to get a blog post about K’nex live.
Debated whether to make home made pizza, but been getting some random headaches since yesterday, so decided to order one instead for the evening meal.
Oh no! That’s a shame about the Chinese takeaway.
Cat’s in boxes always makes me smile. They do love them.
Those scones look so good. x

It is strange why they love them so much!
We’ve never had Knex here, just lego. But some of the sets look really good. Always a shame when takeaways aren’t as good as you’d expect. We rarely have them here apart from fish and chips.
We usually have lego too but think I might get some more K’nex
The chinese food looks tasty from the picture but you’d know better. Awww cats love boxes. Cute, my dogs judge me too when i do something out of the ordinary like get dressed like a human. The K’Nex set looks cool and considering how you can put the sticks at different angles can make so many shapes. Homemade pizza’s the best but yes if one is in the mood to make it.
The K’nex is great!
Shame the Chinese wasn’t up to scratch. Rosie looks cute in the Children in Need ribbon, what a pity it didn’t turn up in time for Bee to wear to school. Hope the online karate is going well
It’s going well thanks
What is it with cats and boxes? We have the same review sets by the looks of it! #366
Don’t know why they love boxes!
Sounds like a busy week blog wise for you? Looks like some wonderful things sent to review. I am lacking motivation a bit at the moment. The scones look delicious I think I need to do some baking this weekend!

It is so hard to get motivated sometimes isn’t it?
Rose looks like a star of the week! Sorry to hear the Chinese takeaway wasn’t particularly good. We tend to go for pizza as a takeaway, as that’s what my guys request. I’d love to occasionally have something different. What a pity the spotty hair clips didn’t arrive in time. Keep them safe until the next year.
Yes her teacher said to her as well that she can always wear them next year
Rosie looks very cosy and comfortable in the box. I’m impressed that she tolerated the Children in Need clips! Bee looks like she is enjoying the K’nex. Those scones look delicious. #project366
They didn’t stay on her head for long to be fair!
Rosie is such a cutie, love that she is so patient with you.I have not tried KNex before, looks fun though
You should give it a go!
