Week 1
A new year but I am not going to do that new year new start stuff. One day doesn’t make a difference. If you want to make a change you can do it at any time. Older girls still off school and its been a relatively quiet week.
MONDAY Stayed up to watch the fireworks and to make sure the toddler and cat didn’t get too sacred. Toddler slept through it all and the cat stayed hidden under my bed. Dads birthday today so popped round with some chocolates and had lunch there. Came home and Minnie was being cute and hugging a teddy bear
TUESDAY Headed to a friends house today as she had got a new kitten and the girls wanted to meet him.
WEDNESDAY
One of Minu’s toddler groups was back on and its nice to slowly start getting into a routine. Bee was able to go with us and it’s always nice to take her as she used to go here when she was smaller!
THURSDAY
Took dad to find him a new fleece as he needs one. Then headed out to different shops to collect some of my sale parcels!
FRIDAY
Before the new year I had signed up to be a Literacy Champion with the Peterborough National Literacy Trust. The lady popped round today with some books we can use when we start Squirrel Scouts. And also a lending box of books which the young people at scouts can borrow.
SATURDAY
Husband went to work and as it was quiet he decided to come home and take us out for lunch. Think he noticed I was feeling a bit down this morning. Headed to Leicester and had a nice meal out.
SUNDAY Final day before back to school and Bee was asking for Bubble Tea. So decided to treat her.
It sounds like a good start to the year.
Minnie does look cute with the teddy bear and what a cute kitten. That does look like a lovely meal out. x

I’ve never had bubble tea, is it actual iced/cold tea? Well done for hubby noticing you needed a pick me up. Happy New Year to you all.

Oh what a gorgeous kitten. It’s always nice to get back to normal routine isn’t it. That food looks really tasty. Bet it was nice to get out for a treat meal.
Definitely nice to get back into routine!
Oh I love the idea of being a literacy champion! Iāll have to look more into this.
