Although the illustrations, especially the front cover, gave my elder two girls a ‘Christmassy’ vibe, the illustrations are fun and vibrant and will definitely keep the young readers attention. The search-and-find element keeps little minds wondering where the presents are and it is fun seeing the pet cat join in with the search too!
The story itself will not teach children anything fundamental about Eid, apart from a special lunch, new clothes, presents and family time but it is a fun, heart warming story of a little girl on the search for her presents. If you are looking for a light hearted story for Eid, then this will make the perfect Eid gift.
