I have always used Sudocrem with both my girls. And I am still currently using the Antiseptic Healing Cream for nappy rash Bee sometimes gets, especially when teething. I have always found it to work quite quickly.

clean the babies bottom thoroughly and regularly. A mixture of sudocrem and vaseline works wonders!!
try and keep baby clean and dry by changing nappy frequently, use fragrance free wipes and keep putting cream on
let a childs bottom breath some fresh air about 1hour day with no nappy one will help with nappy rash x
Keep on top of nappy changes, be very regimental about it!
If a child is to get nappy rash, treat it asap and if it is bad take your child to get medical treatment. Use cream to protect, have no nappy time and change nappies regally.

Whip up some raw egg white, spread it over affected area and leave nappy off while it dries
