Sunday Day 236 – 23rd August

I was determined to get out today so had booked a zoo which is about an hour away. Had told hubby I was capable of taking the girls as we were always out and about anyway prior to lockdown and he could go to work. He decided to come along. The ‘zoo’ was more a breeding centre for endangered animals and without all the talks and experiences we went round in an hour. Decided not to go round again and go elsewhere. After a lot of googling we decided on heading to London which was an hour away from where we were and go on the Emirates Cable Car. It did feel like a very short trip on the cars and probably not something we would do again..but some good views on it.
Monday Day 237 – 24th August

Had to go to the girls school today to collect the uniform I had ordered for Bee and to order a blazer for the eldest. However they just gave the blazer there and then. Got the clothes home for Bee to try on and they were a complete and perfect fit on Bee with no room to grow. Decided I will take them back and get a bigger size. Met up with Bee’s friend and her sister in the park for a long overdue catch up.
Tuesday Day 238 – 25th August

A very windy day – I managed to get to the school before it got really bad and exchange the school uniform. We are all ready for school now except for trainers and coats. Then a relatively chilled afternoon. Hubby cooked today and made egg friend rice and Chicken Manchurian.
Wednesday Day 239 – 26th August

Not much happening today really. Had to get some things for Rosie so popped over to the parents house on the way back. We were talking about Bee’s birthday and what she wanted…she had been mentioning a Nintendo Switch for a while. My parents decided to get it for her…and they got me to pay for it today and we collected it. Decided to get it now and give it to her while she’s still on school holidays so can play with it with the strict understanding she would now only get cake on her birthday…because I got her a couple of games to go with it.
Thursday Day 240 – 27th August

A chilled morning and then hubby had an appointment in Birmingham in the afternoon. We decided to go with him to eat out. Did consider doing a bit of shopping but it was raining.
Friday Day 241 – 28th August

Absolutely nothing planned today! Got a blog post done about Crazy Eggz and Bee received a chocolate smash with a toy it in it. Have added on the Instagram Reel to today so you can see the smash!
Saturday Day 242 – 29th August

A day of doing absolutely nothing except watching movies as its cold, wet and windy. My friend who is a Body Shop consultant dropped off some items I had ordered. She does themed bags each month where you pay £10 and you get £20 worth of items based on that theme. However I don’t wear makeup so she always swaps it over for something else. This month included a make up setting item so she exchanged it for a fragrance which is quite nice! She has been saying I should join her and become a consultant and have been thinking about it.
I bet the views from the cable car were pretty amazing. H loves his Switch so I think it will be a good choice and it’s so portable too.

Yes we love that its portable!
You did the right thing taking Bee’s uniform back. They do need room to grow.
My youngest has a Nintendo Switch on her Christmas list. I think she only wants it for the Animal Crossing game.
That chocolate with the toy in looks brilliant. x

The next size up isn’t tooo big and doesn’t look bad although shes complaining the arms are long!
The body shop bag looks interesting and I really love the chocolate smash, I saw it over on Instagram. The zoo trip sounded good, but like you said much shorter than normal. hope you got a good view from the cable cars
The views were pretty good!
Ooh the food this week looks tasty. It rained when we went on the cable cars – but the Emirates museum bit there is great.
Sadly the museum bit was shut when we went.
Nice to get out even if the zoo trip was quicker than expected. I keep meaning to go on the Emirates cable car at some point. That chocolate smash looks like fun. #project366
Definitely nice to get out!
I bet Bee loved her birthday gift! My son wants the new Mario gamel, but he also wants the Avengers, and I am looking online, if I can find it somewhere less expensive.
The chocolate smash with a toy sounds like fun.
Getting a bigger uniform is the right thing to do, they grow so fast in a year.
I was reluctant to get the switch initially due to the cost of the games! I keep a look out for offers now too!
We love the switch for the party games, bit more user friendly for all the family! We did our fair share of eating out food looks delicious!
Definitely great for party games!
I hope the cable car ride was fun. OoOOoO School’s starting! Looking at the Manchurian is making me hungry. Awww I hope she enjoyed her gift. Is that chicken tikka? Crazy eggs looks like a cool game, although I agree putting eggs in your armpit is gross. The chocolate smash is new!

If I remember rightly, I think it was a chicken leg
The cable cars look great fun, my two would love that. I still haven’t tried reels on Instagram yet – I really should. The bodyshop consultant sounds interesting I do like their products and its very nice of your friend to swap things around for you.

I have only used reels once! Quite happy to just post a ‘normal’ photo
I bloomin’ love egg fried rice but never seem to get it right when I make it! It’s still crazy to talk about booking things like a zoo visit! Sorry tour visit was so short though, hopefully they add more things in time! Hope you are having a lovely week! Sim x

I bet the views from the cable car were amazing. We just got a Switch and A loves it. It is good it is portable too xx
Yes we love that it is portable!
We love going on the Emirates Cable car for the views – did you go in the museum afterwards, my kids love the flight simulator!
You managed to get some cucumber body wash…..been after that and the lotion for ages!
Sadly the museum was shut
