Week 42 of 2020 – Project 366

Sunday Day 285 – 11th October

Had made a plan to meet up with Bee’s friends. Had to leave the eldest at her grandparents as otherwise we would have been more than the rule of 6 outdoors…but she was happier not going anyway. However at the park Bee found some of her other friends so it was a good couple of hours for her. Then we headed over to the friends house and had a takeaway. It was nice to get out and chill.

Monday Day 286 – 12th October

The eldest is doing Food Tech at school and was making bagels today. We had to make the dough before hand and it was left overnight. I was worried if it would be too long for the yeast but they ended up ok. Did think she could have cooked them a bit longer as some of them looked a bit raw in places.

Tuesday Day 287 – 13th October

Had arranged to go meet up with a friend today provided all was ok and no more restrictions and no cases of the virus at the girls school. Had lunch there and she introduced me to salami. I have never had it before and found it a little bit salty. But it tasted good in a cheese sandwich with mango chutney. Was a bit wary of the combo but was surprised that it was actually pretty good. In the evening I joined an Islamic course online. It is a free one and will hopefully help me in areas that I am unsure of.

Wednesday Day 288 – 14th October

Not a lot happening today. Tried to get on with some blog work. Took some pictures for a review about Asda personalised photo gifts and got a review live.

Thursday Day 289 – 15th October

Had to head out to Matalan to collect some dresses I had ordered for Bee. Took mum with me as she was after some socks and then went to another shop while we were out. Stopped off at the Cake Box to get some cakes for the girls. Decided to try their cupcakes but regretted it afterwards. They weren’t nice. Felt hard and like they weren’t fresh.

Friday Day 290 – 16th October

A quiet day today. Caught up with some friends on the phone. When the girls got home the eldest decided to make some cupcakes herself after the disappointment of yesterday.

Saturday Day 291 – 17th October

While Bee was at her karate, myself and the eldest decided to go to Dobbies which is round the corner from the Dojo. Treated myself to an Air Plant as it looked pretty. Decided to get a small one for now to see if I can keep it alive! If I succeed will get some bigger ones.
