A Child’s Gift. I recently heard about this book in a Facebook group and since it was receiving such high praise I decided to purchase. I found it for a few pounds on Amazon and I feel like it was definitely worth it.

It is more than just an Islamic du’as curriculum book. Bound within these pages is a golden timeless legacy of our beloved Messenger صَلَّى ٱللَّٰهُ عَلَيْهِ وَآلِهِ وَسَلَّمَ carefully preserved and passed down through the hearts of scholars. It is a solid foundation to enrich your minds in our blessed faith upon which you can build a bright and promising future for this world and the next.

There is so much to teach our children about Islam and frankly it can sometimes feel a bit overwhelming. Duas, Ahaddeth, Surahs are just some of the things to teach and some parents may find it hard to know where to begin. This book helps guide you in the right direction.
The book contains a syllabus, guiding you through ages 4 – 16. However there is nothing to say some of the things can’t be taught at a younger age – it simply gives you guidance of some important things the children should know.

Each chapter is clear with a clear outline of what the children will be learning and there is space to tick that the child has leant it after assessment.

At the end of the book the 99 names of Allah are listed and also a Surah Memorisation chart.

A Child’s Gift a bright and colourful book teaching some of the essential elements of Islam such as Wudu and Salah (please note the salah follows the hanafi madhab).
It is perfect to help teach your children hadeeth, duas and the names of Allah.
