Sunday 6th June – Day 156

A quiet Sunday of just chilling really. Tried to do a bit of gardening. Noticed my red roses are beginning to flower. They are quite late this year compared to last year.
Monday 7th June – Day 157

Back to school for the kids…..Didn’t really feel like doing much but managed to get a blog post live about the My Salah Mat. The Bee had to give the unicorn ice cream a try when she got home from school. She loves this ice cream.
Tuesday 8th June – Day 158

Decided to paint a wall that has needed to be done before I even got pregnant. Hubby can’t do it as he has some shoulder issues and I don’t like asking other family to keep coming and doing jobs for me…so gave it a go as it is a small wall while I still had some energy. It was strangely relaxing!
The the nephew called in the evening asking if the girls wanted cake and got us all some cake slices.
Wednesday 9th June – Day 159

While I was on a roll I decided to paint the other wall in the room too to freshen it up. Sadly though by the end of the day I realised that the wall had ended up streaky. It is going to need another coat but I had run out of paint.
Thursday 10th June – Day 160

Appointment at the clinic today to see the consultant and the diabetes team. Baby is still breech, sugar levels are still pretty much under control….and there wasn’t much to discuss until I have my scan next week to check to see if the placenta is still low lying. Then took hubby to get more paint, a sun hat and suncream for Bee for school….and a towel and pyjamas for the hospital. As it was a bit more cloudy today hubby decided to use his day off to tidy up some of the big weeds we had at the back of the garden.
Friday 11th June – Day 161

A community MW appointment today to check blood pressure, urine etc….all OK and will discuss things in more detail after my scan next week. Next appointment with her in 3 weeks. After the school run popped in to see the parents and noticed their cucumber plant is doing well..much better than mine!
Saturday 12th June – Day 162

Cut the grass first thing in the morning before it got too hot and then popped to the garden centre when went to pick up Bee from karate. Got tempted by some houseplants again! Popped to mums for lunch as she had made some rice and then made home made pizza in the evening as had some left over dough.
That cake looks so good. Glad everything’s going well with your pregnancy. We don’t have any plants in our house – I killed both flowers I did have, so it’s a lost cause really
I am trying again with the plants in the house
I love the colour of the paint. I am trying to decide what colour to paint our dining room. Glad your appointment went well and good luck with the scan
Thank you
Your roses are so pretty. I think they are my favourite type of flower. I love the look of the ice cream. What fun. Good on you for doing the painting. It’s a shame it ended up streaky though.
Oh wow! That cucumber is fantastic. Mine all died off. Hmmf. x

My cucumber plant isn’t doing well either
Your red rose is beautiful. Mine have been late flowering this year too. Love the paint colour on your wall. Hope that all went well with your scan. #project365
Thank you
That cucumber is impressive, your parents clearly have greener fingers than me. Love that pain, hope the streaks have gone now #365
They have greener fingers than me too!
Love roses ours are flowering too although they need deadheading now. Love the colour of the paint so bright and colourful. Never tried unicorn ice cream. Sorry to hear baby is still breech but great your bloody sugars are under control. Keeping everything crossed that baby moves by your next appointment
