Sunday 29th August – Day 240

Another quiet Sunday with not a lot happening. The eldest has been using filters and taking pics of baby. She thought it was hilarious!
Monday 30th August – Day 241

Having a hard time getting the baby to settle in her moses basket. Once I put her down she awakens in minutes. To be honest it is tiring. Not much else happening today.
Tuesday 31st August – Day 242

Bee and her dad decided to have another adventure today and took the train to London to go to London Zoo. Hubby brought me back a teddy and got the girls one each too while the baby got an outfit.
Wednesday 1st September – Day 243

Finally got baby registered. Our initial appointment had been the end of September but the health visitor suggested I keep checking online for cancellations and managed to get an appointment today. Hubby went by himself as they are still limiting people and said to try not to bring baby.
Thursday 2nd September – Day 244

Yesterday my brother had come round to hang the TV up on the wall. Our living room is small and getting cramped with baby stuff…so made some space. While tidying up I found some old pound coins. Will have to take them to the bank to see if they will exchange.
Friday 3rd September – Day 245

Pretty much all of Friday was spent on the sofa with baby asleep on me. For some reason she will not settle in her moses basket during the day. She has to be on me. I really need to get myself a sling so I can get on with stuff when she is clinging to me.
Saturday 4th September – Day 246

Not a lot happening today again. I had ordered some lights which my nephew put on the back of the TV. I think they look ok. They are colour changing too.
hehehe The photo filter on your baby did make me chuckle. For a second I did think they were real sunglasses.
It sounds like Bee and your husband are having some great days out. x

It has been good for Bee to spend some time with her dad.
Loving the tv lights. Nice to have something a bit different. Yay to getting baby registered. Always a bit of a milestone.
Was glad to get it done sooner rather than later
The first picture looks like a poster for a movie. It’s funny.
I think it is a very good idea with the sling, hopefully she will like it.
Lots of people have said to try a sling
The baby looks so content, but I see from your SM she has colic and I know mine wouldn’t lie down at all and had to be carried everywhere. i read somewhere about tilting the basket a little at the foot end, but you’d have to google that, it may be outdated practice now
The next to me crib has the ability to be tilted slightly so have done that
That filtered pic of the baby made me smile. I remember the fun of trying to get them to settle in the Moses basket. Hope that she starts settling a bit more soon. It is exhausting. A sling sounds like a good plan – I found mine a lifesaver in those first few months with Thomas. #project365
She totally hates the basket!
That’s great you managed to get a cancellation and get baby registered. I hope Bee enjoyed the zoo, we have not been to London zoo for ages. I really like the light behind the TV. Hope you manage to get a sling or convince her to stay in the Moses basket. Harry was the same I never got anything done!

I have given up with the moses basket. She seems to hate it!
Love the filtered photo. We really need to visit London Zoo. Little E used to need me to sleep like that. She also had a crying stage from 4 to 8. That was fun. I hope things are getting easier for you now #365
