A week of food!
Week 19 – 7 May to 13 May 2023
Day 127 – Sunday
Had a meeting with the Scouts treasurer first thing as we still needed to sort out a budget and work on our annual accounts for the AGM. Tried out a new breakfast from a local halal cafe. It was nice.
Day 128 – Monday
I think my husband realised I was getting a bit annoyed that he was working every bank holiday and we never did anything. He decided to take the day off and suggested we go IKEA at Milton Keynes. I really didn’t want to on a bank holiday as knew it would be busy but he doesn’t often take the Monday off. It was packed but we managed to find parking and inside it wasn’t too bad. Spent too much! Then drove to Luton to try out a new restaurant: Tava House. The food was ok.
Day 129 – Tuesday
Toddler group in the morning. It was all about cars and construction!
Day 130 – Wednesday
Met up with a friend after a long time for breakfast. Was good to have a proper catch up! Then toddler group.
Day 131 – Thursday
I have also put off booking any groups for a Thursday as hubby usually takes Thursday off work, but realised we weren’t doing much anyway so decided to try out an outdoors messy play group now that the weather is nicer. It was a 9.30 start which had been putting me off but we went and Minu after her initial shyness, loved it. Will be booking and going regularly from now on. Minu kept picking the dandelions but hasn’t yet learnt to blow properly!
Day 132 – Friday
A quiet day at home after popping out with the hubby to do some shopping before he headed to work. No pictures.
Day 133 – Saturday
Karate in the morning for Bee and then a quiet afternoon. Decided to bake some brownies.
That breakfast looks so good. I could just eat it now.
I am glad your husband had a day off and you had a day out. The Thursday group sounds like a lot of fun. x

It was and we will be going back to the Thursday one!
Your food pics this week are making me hungry – it all looks delicious! Glad Minu enjoyed the outdoors messy play group. That’s a cute photo of her with the dandelion. #project365
She loves being out and about!
Glad to hear Minu enjoyed her new group. Love the look of those chocolate brownies.
