Project 365 – Weeks 46 and 47 of 2023

Weeks 46-47 – 12 November to 25 November 2023

Nothing special really these 2 weeks. Got a bad cough in the second week.

Day 317 – Sunday

Bee had a competition but mum had guests over so I had to go over there to help cook and entertain them. So her dad took her. Sadly Bee was knocked out after the first round so they were home before 1. Was a nice afternoon though with the guests who had brought over their 1 year old. Minu played really nicely with him. No pictures as was too busy.

Day 318 – Monday

A quiet day today at home. Needed to recover from the cooking and all the washing up yesterday! Hate that my mum doesn’t have a dishwasher lol. Again no pictures.

Day 319 – Tuesday

Rhyme time at the library and then headed to the mums meet up straight away. Minu’s friend then said she wanted to go to the local soft play, so we decided to head there and we have a bit of lunch there.

Day 320 – Wednesday

Toddler group today and Minu spent most of the time playing with the gloop. She was initially wary of touching it fully but by the end of the session she was sticking her hands right in.

Day 321 – Thursday

Husbands day off, headed to get some shopping done. And a toy arrived for Minu for us to review. She loves it.

Day 322 – Friday

Stopped at the pet shop after school as when I went there earlier in the week I couldn’t find the cat litter I wanted. Managed to find some today and got tempted by the rabbits. Maybe in the summer.

Day 323 – Saturday

Popped to Bee’s friends house as the girls had a new baby brother. He was 5 weeks old. We haven’t seen these friends in a while so ended up staying there for 3 hours, much longer than I had planned. But it was lovely to meet the little one and for Bee to catch up with her friends. No pictures as can’t share the baby’s pictures here.

Day 324 – Sunday

Woke up to an extremely sore throat and generally feeling unwell so just relaxed all day. Got the paints out and the older girls helped keep Minu occupied.

Day 325 – Monday

Still feeling a bit rough so stayed at home. No pictures.

Day 326 – Tuesday

Feeling better so decided to take Minu out to rhyme time at the library as she was getting frustrated at home. Then our friends suggested the soft play at Dobbies so headed there afterwards.

Decided to try the festive mint chocolate from Dobbies as I get two free drinks a month. A nice alternative to the coffee places that are being boycotted.

Day 327 – Wednesday

Popped to mums after toddler group as the eldest had headed there after her mock exam (she had forgotten her key). Ordered a takeaway and stayed there until it was time to pick up Bee from school. We had made some gingerbread men at toddler group which we baked at mums.

Day 328 – Thursday

Started feeling a bit rough again. Started coughing more. Hubby home today. Got our radiator in the bathroom replaced as it was corroded. And then I sorted through all of Minu’s old clothes to donate as they are just taking up space and I am not planning any more kids. Minnie was chilling in the conservatory all day as the sun warmed it up a bit.

Day 329 – Friday

A quiet day at home. Was going to take Minu to a group but just wanted to relax at home. Tried out the diet cola we got from Aldi yesterday as I am boycotting the coke and pepsi. It was ok and will do to satisfy my cravings for when I want coke.

Day 330 – Saturday

Bee didn’t want to go karate as it was just one lesson as fight club was cancelled. She then later said she was starting to feel a bit rough too, had some paracetomol and rested, so another quiet day at home. I had ordered Minu some crayons and they arrived today so she was happy.
